A woman reveals a “genius” trick to have a week’s worth of clothes in her hand luggage
A WOMAN has revealed a packing trick for putting a week’s worth of clothes in a hand luggage.
Tiktok user LORAfied shared her tip with her 56,000 followers, where she used a common household item to help organize her luggage.
She used hanging fabric shelves, the kind you might put in a closet, and started sorting her clothes there.
Her advice was to plan out all the outfits you’re going to wear on vacation, then put each day’s clothes on a separate shelf.
She tucked the shelves into her carry-on suitcase which kept all the neatly folded clothes.
She then explained that when you get to your hotel, you can just lift the shelves of your luggage and hook them up, which makes unpacking very easy.
In the videoshe said: “This closet favorite can fit a week’s worth of clothes in your carry-on.
“Just fold up your outfits and put them on a shelf every day. Now just fold them up in your luggage.
“When you get to your destination, take it out and hang it up and you’re done.”
The video has been viewed over a million times and some viewers were very impressed with the trick.
One person wrote, “I’m definitely going to try this one”, while someone else simply wrote, “Awesome”.
However, others worried that the shelves would take up too much space and not leave enough room for shoes and toiletries.
Someone said, “It takes up too much luggage space. That’s a definite no.”
Another wrote: “No room for shoes or toiletries. Better to fold or roll smaller to fit other items.”
But LORAfied argued that the shelves left enough space for other essentials.
She wrote: “The fabric sides have plenty of room, plenty of room for a pair of shoes and a makeup bag.”
