‘Another reason to love Metallica’: The band releases a new t-shirt to help Ukraine

One of the most famous heavy metal bands in the world, Metallica, has launched a new T-shirt to support Ukrainians who are suffering because of the Russian invasion of their country.

The T-shirt was designed by graphic designer Andrew Cremeans who has been associated with the band for a long time now.

On Tuesday, the link to pre-order the black graphic tee was launched on Metallica’s website. All proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts, priced at $39.99 (about 3,000 rupees), will go to World Central Kitchen, which has served thousands of meals to Ukrainians as part of its #ChefsForUkraine campaign.

Metallica fans were touched by the gesture and many took to Twitter to announce that they had pre-ordered their T-shirts for the good cause.

This isn’t the first time heavy metal superstars have come to the aid of those affected by the war in Ukraine. Earlier this month, the band donated $500,000 to World Central Kitchen.

They also pledged to donate $1 million to the #ChefsForUkraine campaign over the next two months with the help of All Within My Hands, a non-profit organization created by Metallica members and management. .

These last months, several artists and organizations showed solidarity and support for Ukrainians who are suffering the brutal consequences of the Russian invasion.

model Gigi Hadid and Mica Arganaraz announced in March that they would be donating a portion of their revenue from the fall 2022 shows to organizations that help Ukrainian refugees and others affected by war.
