Ashneer Grover’s wife wears contestant’s clothes he dissed on Shark Tank
Clothing brand Twee In One was one of the brands featured on the popular show Shark Tank India. The brand’s founder, Niti Singhal, presented her brand which makes reversible and convertible clothes. However, she faced a lot of criticism on the show, especially from BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover.
Grover rejected the brand, saying she should stop wasting time with her brand and instead sell lehengas with her mother. However, things turned when his wife Madhuri Jain Grover was seen on The Kapil Sharma Show wearing a dress from Singhal’s clothing line.
When Singhal introduced his model on the show, Grover said, “Bahut hi ganda fashion hai ye. No one will wear it in my house. my house. You should close down).”
Singhal received a lot of criticism from the Sharks on the show. However, Ghazal Alagh very much approved of his idea. Unfortunately, as expected, Singhal did not make any deal on the show and left empty-handed.
However, when Ashneer Grover’s wife wore the Niti Singhal brand dress, it really looked like a win. Twee In One’s Instagram account shared a video that shows Ashneer Grover lashing out at Niti Singhal, followed by a photo from the Kapil Sharma Show where his wife is wearing a dress from his clothing line. “We love how beautiful @madsj30 is in our Twee dress at @tksshowofficial! Thank you Madhuri, for believing in our work (sic),” the video caption read.
“Thank you for the dress. I think the sharks didn’t like the dresses shown on the buffet, the dresses you wore and the models were good. Keep up the good work and I wish you all the best for your business! ” Madhuri Grover wrote in the comments section.
According to a India time report, the dress was given to her by Ms. Singhal when they came to present their idea on Shark tank.
Regarding the criticism she received for her brand, Singhal spoke to Hindustan time. She said: “I’m used to it. Even fashion industry mentors have said a few harsh things over the years. So I got some criticism, of course not as harsh as Ashneer. ”
