Baldwin Park’s annual Santa Claus clothing project another joyous hit at local Wal-Mart – Pasadena Star News

The Baldwin Park Unified School District, in conjunction with the Town of Baldwin Park, hosted the annual conference on Tuesday morning, December 7 Santa Claus Clothing Project.

A total of 416 K-12 students were escorted around the Wal-Mart on Big Dalton Ave to Baldwin Park by volunteer buyers with an $ 80 prepaid purchasing card to buy winter clothes.

It was the 24th year of the event.

The students were selected based on the financial needs of the family.

Volunteer buyers were matched with students and received information that included student name, grade, clothing size, and shoe size to help them put together a wardrobe.
