London’s ‘Saw: The Experience’ Gives ‘Saw’ Fans an Immersive Chance to Play with Jigsaw

If you haven’t heard of sacred fawn, they are easily one of the best bands around. Classified between blackgaze and doomgaze, they harmoniously blend loud and boisterous with a soothing melody. If you’re looking for where to start, let’s put it this way, they don’t have a bad song in their catalog.

Earlier this year, Holy Fawn released a brand new single to support the band’s US tour with Deafheaven. Today, a second track was shared along with the announcement of the band’s highly anticipated new LP.

“Holy Fawn, the Phoenix-based band whose 2018 DIY release, death spellsearned the young quartet widespread recognition from colleagues and writers, returns with the long-awaited album, Dimensional bleedout September 9 through Wax Bodega.

News of the imminent arrival of the 10-song (pre-order) album is greeted with the release of a second single, the title track.Dimensional Bleed ».

“We’ll always be the same four humans making music,” singer/guitarist Ryan Osterman says of the collection they co-produced with Mike Watts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Glassjaw). “With each release, I feel like we’ve continued to learn how to best support each other mentally and musically, which allows us to try new things. Personally, I think this record has really allowed us to explore more creative avenues than we did with death spells.”

“‘Dimensional Bleed’ loosely refers to a concept of multiple dimensions and timelines that could exist simultaneously,” adds guitarist Evan Phelps. “A lot of different media have alluded to this ideology, and I find the possibility of multiple dimensions intersecting and bleeding into others fascinating.”

Album pre-orders, which include a selection of limited-edition vinyl variants, CDs, cassettes, as well as digital pre-backups, are available now.
