What shirt did Travis Scott wear at the Astroworld festival?

Eight people died and hundreds more were injured at Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival last week. Attention turned to the shirt the rapper wore during the concert.

Several baseless conspiracy theories have surfaced online in the wake of the NRG Park tragedy in Houston last Friday.

What happened at Astroworld?

A wave of crowds erupted at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival on Friday, November 5, killing eight and injuring around 300.

Houston Fire Chief Samuel Pena explained, “The crowd started to squeeze towards the front of the stage which caused some panic and started causing injuries. People started to fall unconscious and this created further panic. “

In a statement posted on Instagram, Travis addressed the tragedy and said:

What was Travis Scott’s shirt at Astroworld?

Several bogus conspiracy theories have surfaced online after the tragedy. Some people have shared their thoughts on the shirt Travis wore at the festival.

The rapper had a shirt with people who turned into demons after going through a portal.

Set design, promotional material, and overall branding have been linked to symbolism by a number of social media users.

The festival merchandise had the slogan “see you later”, however, it has nothing to do with the devastating deaths at the event.

Many people warned people to read credible sources about what happened at the festival and to avoid the baseless rumors that run on the internet.

For example, multimedia journalist Diyora Shadijanova denounced conspiracy theories and tweeted: “People would literally rather believe that Travis Scott performed a satanic ritual at Astroworld than look at the probable reason why such a tragedy was made possible = profit> people.”

Travis Scott and others face lawsuits

A lawsuit has been filed against Travis, Live Nation and other organizers over the tragedy, Billboard reported.

As the outlet reported, the lawsuit claims the disaster was the direct result of “motivating profit at the expense of the health and safety of spectators” and “encouraging violence”.

The post added that Travis, Scoremore and Live Nation had not responded to a request for comment at the time of writing.
